I currently work at one of the stores on the Diamond (the picturesque loop with a gazebo in the center) this is the main attraction. I work at Equine Chic where we sell merchandise for your horse and home. You don't have to have a horse to shop here. There is an array of goodies from clothing, socks, jewelry, to limited tack for riding, riding apparel, and house gifts for your kitchen, living room, bedroom, and stationary and books. The website is cute and the owner maintains it to stay up to date with products and information. Sometimes there are items on special only on the website.
Another place that I worked at is the Ligonier Tavern. This s a great restaurant to experience the Ligonier ambiance. They serve lunch and dinner. I always recommend the amazing cranberry walnut chicken salad sandwich served on honeybee bread along with some homemade chips on the side. Honestly I always tend to take the other half home for a snack. The prices for sandwiches are reasonable and for dinner you can get a nice entree and appetizers for a bit of a splurge. The artichoke dip appetizer is a meal in itself and is my all time favorite. This comes with pita chips and served piping hot.
So now you can check out Equine Chic and the Ligonier Tavern for a bit of Ligonier flavor.
